IMPORTANT! We have moved the 7:30AM Mass to 7:00 AM.

Also, we are no longer celebrating the 12:15 PM weekday Mass. We invite those wishing to attend a 12:15 PM Mass to visit the Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, at Columbus Avenue and Vallejo Street.

We ask that the following be observed when in the church:

All visitors must be dressed in a manner of modesty and good taste which is fitting to the sacred character of the place;

Men, in keeping with ancient custom, must remove their hats or headcoverings upon entering the church;

Cell phones and pagers must be silent;

No flash photography is allowed during the sacred liturgy;

Applause is never appropriate at any time during or after the sacred liturgy: "Wherever applause breaks out in the liturgy because of some human achievement, it is a sure sign that the essence of the liturgy has totally disappeared and been replaced by a kind of religious entertainment.” -Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) "The Spirit of the Liturgy" page 198.
